| Our guild loot system explained:
The guild uses a set-price DKP system with taxing.
Woha! hold on a minute, what does that mean?
Well, a DKP system (Known in EQ as Dungeon Kill Points) is a system according to each player gets points for each raid and may spend them on loot.
Set-Price means that each item has it's own price, in our case each epic costs 4 DKP points, and each Tier Token costs 6.
Taxing means that each month ALL DKP players will suffer from a 10% penalty on their DKP points.
So, how many points do I get every raid?
Points will be allocated according to this: 1 point for showing up on time ready. (18:30) 1 point for behaving 1 point for staying till the end of the raid (23:00) 1 point for attending the raid.
You can also gain points for staying outside and ready to replace someone in a raid.
What happens if two people want the same loot?
Then they higher the bids until someone wins it. The winner pays the highest bid he made.
Where can I see my current DKP?

| Well, we did not use it just yet, not using a Loot system in Karazhan, only 25 man.
but it sounds promising.

| Just felt like I had to put in my oppinion, even though from the sounds of /ooc chat I am alone in this.
I really really feel like the players that show up for every single raid IN TIME and bloody prepaired should be the one with priority to items, not someone that just happend to have a few hours to burn that evening and decided to join a random raid.
No idea what fits this but I have used DKP before and it did the job. I know that everyone else seems to hate DKP but that alone tells me something.

*cough*someone outrolls one of the most dedicated tanks on t4 shoulders which he needed about twice as much*cough* Anyway, i must say that i agree with Brumhilda here. DKP does work way better and -dkp for not showing up for signed raids and/or being late for a signed raid is a good way to punish slackers. While speaking of this matter i just have to say it's time for something to happen for group 2 since we're mainly sitting here and rotting. Crack the whip at slacking tanks for example... take drastic actions in other words because at this rate we hardly get one boss down per week and have to pug a tank for each raid. | |

| As much as I agree with you Kross, we really cant force anyone to do anything - nor should we. outcast is (according to /ooc) not considered a raid guild, and thus we cant expect everyone here to feel like raiding.
That might be (at least one of) the reason we are beginning to see a few of those I would consider great raiders (Sindwell and Altabuckey comes to mind) seeking other ways of raiding (ie read: joining more hardcore raid guilds).
I know I personally am getting increassingly frustrated by our somewhat backwards (read: grp2's) progress in Karazan wich I would name our primary target for the moment.
Anyways we are stealing the thread from its purpose and this discussion should be held elsewhere. Food for thoughts though eh?
EDIT: now that I have more or less hijacked this thread anyway lest me just get this off my chest. I deicded that I most likely wont be raiding in Kara with grp2 again since I dont appriciate being told basickly that I dont know how to play my class by someone that 1: was late for the raid, 2: didnt bring any consumables for himself, and 3: didnt even bother showing up with repaired eq.

| Dbon with this system we need to have a set start AND end time for raids. I'd really hate to loose points every single raid just becourse I have a job requiring me to get up at 5am ..
