We are now opening a contest for the new ranking system in the guild (just need the names of the ranks =p)
So just suggest a theme (should be something to do with us being outcasts (of society =p)
I'm quite tired with the Naruto themed ranks..
We will have a vote that will have a large part in us deciding which ranks to take.
If you have any good idea, post it... even if you just have a few ranks, helping each other
brainstorm will be very cool of you =p

Edit2 - Since we accept the fact that the ranks represent Outcast's true spirit we feel that we can take our time to decide upon what works best for us.

Well the ranks doesnt have to be all big and flashy imo, they should be functional and easy for everyone to understand - so my first suggestion would be to just go with something like this:

Guild Master
Officer
Class Leader
Veteran
Member
Trial Member

That way there is no confussion of who is what.

Exiled Mentor - Guild Leader, might want to consider changing the "exiled" to something else
Mentor - Class Leaders, they accept the "Banished" turn them into "Accepted" and when the time comes, "Recover" them.

Banished


This might need a bit changing so feel free to suggest changes for this.

I always kinda liked Soldier ranks:
Grand Commander, Guild leader

Chief, High Ranking player (mostly Class leaders)

Elite, Someone who Proved himself in Raids and is in great (armor) shape

Brute, Person with at least: <dunno>

Veteran, Atuned to Many Raids, also Does some Good DPS

Marine, Slightly better than Soldier, has extended pvp skills, and raided at least once(This Rank requires lvl 70).

Soldier, Normal member, not raided yet moslty in the "in shape team"

Student, Member wich just joined, must show armor, proof that he raided, and at least 60+ before getting promoted.

Or plz use at least Elite, Brute and Chief >w<

I like your idea Woods, as it is very clear to see what's your status within the guild. We could merge the Veteran with the Brute.

If we gonna use army ranks better use them more properly:

Rookie: Newcomer, doesnt know much.

Private: Non raid shaping up team member.

Corporal: Raid member, has good gear.

Lieutenant: Long time honored raid member.

Captain: Class leader

General: Guildmaster

Some ranks can be changed. Lieutenant can be made sergeant or a major rank can be put in between somewhere etc.

Well i had a couple of ideas, ill write the theme and then the ranks in order when the first is the lowest and the last the highest (starting over with each theme):

Theme: Enemy:
Agent
adversary
Rebel
Rival
Antagonist
Nemesis

Theme: Reasons of Outcast:
Thief
Bandit
Assassin
Blood Hunter
Slayer
Nemesis

Theme: Outcast:
Castaway
Exile
Vagrant
Outcast
Pariah
Untouchable

Also you can mix these up, take one title from one and another from the other. If you like the idea i have plenty more, just say the word. If you do not understand the definition of any of these words please tell and i will tell you to open a dictionary and look it up

Nemsis of Outcast sounds a bit odd, doesn't it?

And yes, by all means! keep on spamming us with wonderful new ranks ideas (I like this part, once we decide on the ranks I could finalize my GUI =P)

well...since we do have some logic behinde our name....and we act as a family to all those which didnt succed to get into any other brotherhood....i think that the ranks should somehow show that, similar to Dbon's ranks
something like this -

Exile - Trilist, new guy who enterd our "domain"

Accepted - One who got his approval join our guild, after his trial time

Member - an active raider, RPer etc..

Guide - class leaders, those who guide their class mates helping them get along and more.

Mentor - guild leader, the one who guids the whole brotherhood, has the final words, and help at crisies

As long as i dont have to be a noob i'm pleased Gotta love your fantasy and effort you put into this..
